About the Artist
Hi there, I'm Nathan Childress...
I'm an artist & designer from the San Francisco Bay Area, and while I love to make independent art for myself, I get even more excited when I get to work with a client, bring their vision to life, and have my art be a part of something bigger. I think it's the highest honor for someone to want your design to be a logo for their business, decoration for their shop, a poster for their event, or even a tattoo on their body.
I have interest and experience working in all types of media, from paint, ink, watercolor, screen printing, to digital media like Photoshop, Illustrator, and even CAD drafting softwares. I have a BFA in Illustration from California College of the Arts, and since graduating I've taught painting & art classes, painted large murals, designed logos apparel and branding for several businesses, and various other freelance projects.

The Port Workspaces - Lakeside, Oakland, CA
Shared company workspaces. I designed and painted a large Oakland themed mural in their commercial catering kitchen.
Cloud House Vape Shop - San Leandro, CA
Vape shop & lounge. I designed their company logo vector graphic, promotional materials, and a large mural in their shop.
Foster City Parks & Recreation - Foster City, CA
Public parks department. I designed a commemorative shirt by commission of Tiernan Kang, senior park ranger.
Fleurever Farms - Everson, WA
Commercial flower farm. I designed the company logo and branding material.
Eden Divas - Castro Valley, CA
Charity cycling team. I designed a fundraising shirt and bike jersey for their ride in the AIDS Life Cycle charity ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
Better Together Labs - Oakland, CA
Improv comedy classes. I designed their business logo vector graphic.
